After practising yoga for over 20 years, through 4 pregnancies, 1 marriage and numerous different careers its now time to start including the younger generation in my teaching practise.
Over the past few years I've have noticed just how interested all my children are in learning yoga, practising along side me and being able to bring a more light hearted approach to iyengar yoga.
In a playful manner children learn all the qualities adults learn, steadiness, strength, suppleness and balance. It enhances self confidence and improves concentration and focus.
I am looking forward to seeing how the influence of teaching iyengar yoga to children will change my own personal practise...only time will tell!!!
