Mysore
Description / Notes: ‘Mysore Style’ Ashtanga Yoga is named after the city in South India where Sri K Pattabhi Jois taught this method. In this class you will be given an appropriate sequence to practice that depends on your ability. Students memorise their sequence and come together to practice as a community every morning. The teacher observes and assists – giving verbal and hands on adjustment – and when its appropriate more postures are added. This method allows people to progress at their own pace – some people describe it as a one to one class in a group environment.Teacher Info Map
