Profile
I run group classes, corportate workshops and one-to-one sessions by arrangement. My classes offer a friendly, warm welcome and we work together in a calm and light-hearted atmosphere of gentle encouragement. Having practised Yoga since the early 80s, I decided to combine a love for both teaching and Hatha Yoga and set up a business providing group classes and individual tuition. A fully insured member of the Register of Exercise Professional, I hold the Central YMCA Level 3 Certificate in Teaching Yoga. If the current classes don\'t suit your diary please contact me - other people may be looking for a sessio on the same day and time as you, and I\'m always exploring new opportunities to share the joy of Yoga.

Description / Notes: A welcoming class in a beautiful venue and a lovely way to wake up to your week. Classes are of mixed age, gender and yoga experience. Linda starts each class with some initial relaxation, followed by gentle stretching and often an opening vinyasa (flow) sequence to get the whole body moving. The postures that follow encompass all-round movement of the spine, including flexions, extensions, twists and balances, building the strength of the core muscles and working with awareness of the breath. Modifications, to make the postures "easier", and extensions for those who need a greater challenge are included in order to ensure that everyone from a complete beginner onwards, can participate at their own level. Each session ends with a final relaxation, and often pranayama (breathing exercises).Map

Description / Notes: In the beautiful lakeside setting of Harrold-Odell Country Park in north Bedfordshire we will enjoy an early morning session of hatha yoga. Being in the great outdoors will allow us to experience our connection with nature through our exploration of asana and pranayama. Classes have been running through the summer, and we will keep going through the Autumn Term as long as the weather and light conditions permit. If the weather is too inclement we may have to cancel, so send me your contact details so that I can confirm each class is happening. (Tea-zels Cafe opens at 9, so you can enjoy a healthy breakfast following the class!)Map
