I have been interested in the benefits of linking breath and movement for many years, the breath is the bridge between our bodies and our minds. At times we can feel as though we are pulled in many directions Yoga can help us to come back to the moment, come back to who we are and create a space for peace and calm within.

Description / Notes: Mum and daughters Yoga A relaxed fun class for mums and daughters to enjoy together the minimum age is 13 but with some flexibility so please enquire if you are interested. The class will involve posture work and movements linked to your breath to gradually stretch and strengthen your body (Asana). Breathing techniques to help reduce stress and gently calm our minds (Pranayama). All abilities are welcome, this is a class to unwind and relax away from daily life. Payment is upfront for a term of classes (typically 6-7 weeks). The cost is £48-£56 (for mum and one daughter). There will be limited spaces so please register your interest early. Description / Notes: A gentle practice where your movements are linked to your breath helping you to become more flexible and calm and relaxed and better able to manage the pressures of everyday life. The class is kept deliberately small so I can make sure that everyone is safe and is getting as much as possible from their practice. Everyone is encouraged to work to their own ability taking into account different energy levels, flexibility and strength. Description / Notes: Group classes are a great introduction to Yoga whether you are looking to gently stretch your body, improve your wellbeing, improve flexibility, strength, to relax from the stresses of the day or simply to meet new people and try something new. You are welcome to try a class first to help you decide if you enjoy Yoga, and to see if my style of teaching suits you. Payment is upfront for a term of classes (typically 6-7 weeks) The cost is (£42-£49) Drop in is possible the cost is then £9 per class. This class involves movements linked to your breath to encourage a practice where you stay mindful and aware. Some Yoga philosophy will be included in the class to compliment the practice. The class will involve Asana (movements and postures), Pranayama (breathing techniques to calm and focus your mind), relaxation and finishing with a few moments of meditation and reflection. This class is suitable for everyone you do not have to be fit or flexible- the practice can be easily adapted so that everyone is able to experience the practice. You will be encouraged to work within your limits and focus on what you can do rather than what you can't. Although drop in is available for this class booking is preferred, if you let me know you are coming along I will prepare a welcome pack for you.
