Profile

I began practicing yoga in 1985, teaching in 1991 and since 1996 have also taught yoga on a one to one basis. I trained with Margaret Austen (Iyengar)and Lakshmi Waters (BWY)in the North-East of England, I am qualified and insured as a yoga teacher and professional Yoga Therapist (Diplomas from the British School of Yoga and Devon School of Yoga). I am influenced by my ongoing daily practice, my students and clients, Continued Professional Development, Contemporary Dance, Release Work, Contact Improvisation, Authentic Movement and Creative Kinesiology, all of which influence my work as a Yoga Therapist, most especially the influence and support of Duncan Hulin and the Devon School of Yoga (DSY)).
