I have been teaching yoga in London Waterloo since 2008 offering weekly classes of Dru yoga and pregnancy yoga with the more recent addition of aerobic and yoga stretch. As a qualified energy therapist and coach (NLP) I also combine my skills to create bespoke workshops as well as private tuition. Description / Notes: The aim of this dru yoga class is to give you space in your busy week to let-go and feel great by creating more ease and greater communion with your body. During class we practice activations for warm up, energy block release sequences, traditional asana's often practiced flowing and therapeutically, breath-work to energise and revitalise and deep relaxation to allow the greatness of your practice to unfold. The class is suitable for all levels of fitness and great if youre new to yoga (excluding pregnancy). Mats, blocks and blankets are provided all you need to do is wear something you can move comfortably in and bring a bottle of water. Class available every Monday from 6.30 to 7.45 pm and is sold per term. Description / Notes: This nurturing weekly class makes it easy with warm ups, posture practice, breathing techniques and deep relaxation giving you a routine to adapt as your pregnancy progresses - balancing body and mind whilst joyfully bonding with your baby. You can begin from your fourteenth week of pregnancy and practice up-to your birth. Classes support you with greater communion with your body becoming more comfortable during the emotional and physical changes that take place during the second and third trimester. What does class involve? Breathing techniques for confidence and energy conservation Deep relaxation to let go of tension and tiredness Verbal birthing seeds for trust and empowerment Yogic posture practice and gentle stretching to improve muscle tone and flexibility Pregnancy & Birth mp3 available to support your home practice Class runs from 6 - 7.15 pm St Andrews is a clean warm venue with lots of light. Description / Notes: Be fit and healthy with this fun, low-impact, happy-heart aerobic and yoga workout to boost metabolism, burn calories and tone the entire body. You will be energised, refreshed and renewed as you firm the chest, buttocks, arms, legs and back through a combination of upbeat cardiovascular exercise steps with sculpting moves such as lunges, lifts, squats, kicks and stretching variations. Boost energy and feel great as you are taken through this low intensity, joint-friendly workout. This total body workout is suitable for all levels of fitness all you need is wear something you can move comfortably in, wear your trainers and bring a bottle of water.
