I trained under Swami Ambikananda Saratswati with the Traditional Yoga Association accredited by the Yoga Alliance & registered as a training school with the Independent Yoga Network.
I am trained in the traditional style of Hatha Yoga where conscious breath-work brings the mind into a calm state to enable the connection with the body as asanas (postures) are performed. Each class works through each area of the body giving a total workout & developing strength, flexibility & tone. I have practised yoga for 10 years. I have a nursing & counselling background & see teaching yoga as blending in with these as part of an holistic approach to self care, personal development & the unity of mind, body & spirit.
