Profile

I share a holistic practice, inclusive not only of asana (movement/poses) but of other areas of yoga, such as meditation and pranayama (breathing techniques), which can help to address the needs of the individual: physical, psychological and spiritual. The focus is on body, breath and mind, using the breath to help focus and steady the mind as well as to support the body. People come to yoga for a variety of reasons as it can be helpful in many ways- for the body and mind. I see my role as a yoga teacher to be to facilitate the use of yogic tools in a way that best suits each individual to make the lives of my students better.
