Profile

Following professional dance training and a career as a dancer and teacher, I have moved into teaching yoga. I have been practising yoga for fifteen years after discovering Ashtanga Vinyasa at the London School of Contemporary Dance. Classes are a balance between dynamic sequences and calming, restorative postures with a focus on mindfulness. The sequences blend ashtanga and vinyasa flow yoga styles to build strength and improve flexibility but uses knowledge of dance and anatomy to find a gentler approach, working with the body. Whilst the physical work tones the body, breath awareness and relaxation are included to calm the mind and give a sense of rejuvenation.
